The Wisconsin Woodchucks dropped game two of the South Division Championship Series Wednesday to the visiting Eau Claire Express. It was a long night for the Wisconsin Woodchucks lumber on Sunday, as La Crosse Loggers' starting pitcher Jordan Haver pitched a complete game four-hitter in front of 2442 ‘Chucks fans. The Woodchucks took the loss behind Cory Hall (2-4) and fell to 41-28, while Haver (4-1) notched the win and improved the Loggers to 39-30.
After defeating and eliminating the La Crosse Loggers in dominating fashion Saturday night at Athletic Park, the ‘Chucks have a magic number of 1 Woodchucks win or (assuming Madison holds onto a 11-0 lead in Green Bay) Madison Mallards loss to clinch the second playoff seed in the South Division.
