(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Liz Kern thought she had hit the jackpot, but then reality set in. After making a stop at her local bank, the Fresno, Calif. woman noticed she was almost $1 billion richer when she got home - $850 million to be exact.

Kern knew it was a mistake because her actual deposit was $1,000.

"I am an almost billionaire," said Kern. "Not quite Bill Gates or Dell, but I'm feeling up there. I'm feeling really good about this."

Kern, a former TV news anchor, knew the money was not hers, but she said it was fun to dream.

"I can't quite spend it, because it's not really mine," said Kern. "But [I was] just looking at this going, 'Well, what can I do with this money?'"

Kern admits if she really had that much money she would live it up big.

"It's like, 'What would you do with this much money, go to Disneyland?' No, I would buy Disneyland."

"What would you do with $850 million?"

Kern went online to correct the problem and during an online chat with a banking adviser she was assured that the problem would be corrected. It was, but Kern admits it was fun being an almost billionaire for a day.

Another bank error happened this week in which a New Hampshire man was charged $23 quadrillion for cigarettes.
