Bidding starts at $75,000 for Schofield school property

SCHOFIELD (WAOW) - The opening bid for a DC Everest elementary school property is $75,000.

  The school district closed the Schofield Elementary School due to budget cuts.

  Starting January 31st, forms will be available at the district's administrative offices in Schofield.

  Bids are due by February 21st and will be considered by the school board.

  Assistant superintendent Jack Stoskopf says two offers were already made but the school board rejected each and set the minimum bid at $75,000.

  The district is also selling the Easton School property.
