WAUSAU (WAOW) -

Crews plan to pull a truck from Lake Wausau on Friday.

That truck broke through the ice Tuesday afternoon. It happened just off of Phlox Lane in Rib Mountain.

The front end of the pickup was submerged. The driver got out safely.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requires vehicles to be pulled from the river within 30 days. Otherwise, the driver could face a fine.
