It's a place where rusty metal creates another world. A place where melted glass becomes fine jewelry. A place where you're guaranteed to leave smiling.
It's called Jurustic park. And it's all thanks to a couple in Marshfield.
"Wow! You're certainly a talented couple" is the response Nancy Wynia gets when people see what she and her husband Clyde have created.
"I play with fire. And I melt glass and make it into ornaments and make jewelry out of it" Nancy told Newsline 9.
Nancy Wynia uses melted glass to produce customized pieces of jewelry. And though she pays close attention to detail, she says she never sweats when things go wrong.
"They're not mistakes. They're leaning experiences. We don't do mistakes here" she said.
And her husband Clyde shares the same mindset. While Nancy is melting down glass inside, you can find him outside welding together enormous metal creatures. Some weighing more than 4,000 pounds.
"How can you describe this place now really? It's crazy! It's fun. We only do fun here" Nancy said.
Clyde says Jurustic Park is a place where glass and metal can take visitors' imaginations to new levels. a place where nothing is impossible. Except of course, when it comes to Clyde choosing a favorite metal creature.
"I can't say. What would the others think" Clyde said with a smile.
Jurustic Park is located at 222 Sugarbush Lane, Marshfield, Wis.
