Former Rhinelander judge picked to head GAB

A former Rhinelander judge is the new chairperson of the Government Accountability Board.

Judge Timothy L. Vocke was chosen for that role on Monday, according to a news release from the GAB. He was first appointed to the board in 2011 by Gov. Scott Walker.

The role of vice-chairperson will be filled by Madison Judge Gerald Nichol, and the secretary will be Marshfield Judge Micheal Brennan.

According to the GAB news release, the board "is comprised of six non-partisan, former Wisconsin judges who are appointed by the Governor."
