A storm system moving into Wisconsin today is bringing a slippery mix of rain, snow and freezing rain.
As of 11:56 a.m., the National Weather Service has received reports of freezing rain through Wood and Portage County with slippery road conditions.
If driving on Sunday, motorists are urged to use caution especially on bridges, overpasses, side roads and country roads as they are prone to becoming slippery faster than main roadways.
Drivers should pay attention to icy streets throughout Sunday as areas of freezing rain and rain are likely through this evening.
Late Sunday night into early Monday temperatures will again dive below freezing leading to any rain or freezing rain to convert to snow. Accumulations are possible especially north of the Highway 29 corridor.
