Students and staff brought their best game to the basketball court at Rothschild Elementary School.
It's all part of the rewards program at the school to push positive behavior. School officials say the entire school earned several points for behaving well, so they earned a day to celebrate.
School officials say 5th grader Jameson Morgan came up with the idea of students taking on staff in a basketball game.
"I thought it was a pretty good game and I think we won, hopefully," said Morgan.
"I think they like to see teachers as people too and I mean look at me I do not wear this every day, as a commentator we felt like we needed a little costume here so you know they see us in a different light and really learning isn't just work, learning is a lot of fun too,"said 5th grade teacher, Pam Gresser.
