WAUSAU (WAOW) -
Although the weather didn't cooperate Saturday afternoon, families made the most of an Easter celebration in Wausau.
The Rotary Club of Wausau held its second annual Spring Egg Hunt at the Monk Gardens.
Children played games and made snow sculptures, along with the traditional egg hunt.
Organizers said rain or shine, they hoped to bring the community closer.
"It's just kind of fun to be able to be a part of the community and do some community events and be able to feel like you're doing something to benefit the community, something people appreciate," said Organizer, Alex Dumes.
Organizers said more than 150 people attended this year's event.
