It kicked off Friday afternoon at UW-Stevens Point
Organizers say around 400 teams signed up for the 3-day contest.
It's hosted each year by the campus radio station, 90 FM.
During the 54 hour-long contest, 8 questions are broadcast each hour.
Teams have the length of two songs to call in their answers.
Some of the questions vary from movies to music and sports.
"Trivia is a holiday for most families in this town, I've talked to several people involved in trivia with trivia for 30 plus years and they say they have more of a family reunion during trivia than they do during Christmas," said Mitchel DeSantis, 90 FM Program Director.
18 volunteers are manning the phones all day and night. The contest runs until midnight on Sunday.
