A new twist in a case where Marathon County Sheriff's Department officials say a woman fell out of a truck and later died.
The district attorney says it was caught on tape and that could lead to new charges.
Brandon Bender, 27, is charged with causing injury while under the influence. Officials say it was his girlfriend who fell out and sustained deadly injuries.
Bender was in court Monday. Marathon County officials say Bender told them he was driving through Elderon, when she fell out. Deputy District Attorney Theresa Wetzsteon said the car was not moving at the time.
State officials say they expect the new charges to be filed soon, but did not elaborate on what they could include.
"It is very complicated, and I want to make clear that even at this stage, as the charges change, they may continue to change as the case develops" said Wetzsteon.
Authorities say Bender's blood alcohol content was under the legal limit, but they say Bender admitted to smoking marijuana.
Bender's attorney did not want to comment.
