The weather has suddenly decided to warm up, and it's still just a bit early to head out fishing, but if you need to scratch that outdoors itch you can always try something new. A lot of people are heading to the golf course, even if they're not a golfers. Pine Valley golf course is open, and they say business is picking up. All 18 holes are open, head golf professional Ryan Wendorf says that the back 9 are a bit dryer than the front 9. Heading out for a round of golf doesn't always have to be about playing the game. Sometimes being on a golf course can just be an outdoors experience on its own. Wendorf explains how history proves that this late spring could mean a lush course for the year. "The one year that we did open late and had a lot of snow cover was one of the best years as far as conditions wise, everything was really lush and green. In fact that was the year that we took all the pictures for our web site because the course was really beautiful. We're looking for everything filling out and looking really green in the near future."
