Camille Bukowski started sewing at the age of 16, and never looked back.
"I love to sew, there's not a day that I don't sew. I never took a lesson and I don't use a pattern. I can honestly say, there isn't anything I haven't sewed, " said Camille.
Her most recent project is Christmas stockings--110 of them. They will go to the children of wounded U.S. military members through the Wounded Warriors Family Support Center.
Camille decided to make the stockings after she and her husband visited with wounded soldiers. "When we saw all these wounded soldiers coming home I said I have to do something to say thank you. When we went there and thanked them, they were thanks us for being able to serve, " said Camille.
After talking to a contact at the Wounded Warrior Family Support Center Camille started sewing stocking for children of wounded soldiers. Each one is handmade with a military theme.
Camille said, "I enjoy it and they know somebody cares. It's very touching."
