Friday's sunny weather was the perfect setting for a plant sale.
Ministry Home Care held the sale to benefit hospice. It took place at the Marshfield Clinic Weston Center. Fresh plants were for sale for those searching for the perfect Mother's Day gift. Organizers say the money they raise from the sale will help those who are reaching the end of their lives.
"We're trying to raise the funds to make sure anybody that needs hospice care can be taken care of," says volunteer Judy Sudbury. "Regardless of their money or availability."
The volunteer run sale continues Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Another sale will take place in Stevens Point Saturday at the Ministry Health Care building.
