Ping pong balls fell from the sky in Stevens Point.
Some people were lucky enough to catch a few.
The annual Krazy Days event in downtown Stevens Point brings music, food, and lots of ping pong balls.
"It just adds something extra special to the day," said Debbie Werra, owner of Robin's Nest Gifts
Business owners attach prizes to the ping pong balls which are dropped from a roof to the crowd below. The people who catch the balls can redeem them at company tents.
"This is the third year for it and it's evolving with time and the people like it," said Werra.
Small business owners say supplying those prizes is part of what makes this event so fun.
"This is our third year participating in the Krazy Days and we love being out here even though it is hot," said Mary Beth Czaikowski. "We enjoy meeting all the people and selling our product."
Not only does the event bring the community together, but business owners say it also helps bring them more business.
"It brings more people downtown who haven't been downtown in a while and then they discover new businesses that are down here and then they come back later in the year when they need things," said Werra.
Local employees say the event keeps growing every year.
"Today I was so impressed with all of the people in front of here," said Lindsey Adsit.
People are enjoying this annual event that's all about bringing some fun to downtown Stevens Point.
Krazy Days runs until Friday night.
