It was a tail-wagging good time at Marathon Park Monday.
Dogs of all ages came out for the Dog-Gone Pool Party.
It's an annual event held by the city and county parks, recreation and forestry department.
The event was free for the dogs, but $5 per person.
Money raised helps families in need afford swim lessons and pool passes to Wausau pools.
"People love to see their dogs having a good time, being social together, enjoying the water, and just enjoying the summer," said Recreation Superintendent, Karyn Powers.
"Oh we always have to bring Maddie to the pool parties for the pups we look for that this is one of her favorite tricks," said Wausau resident Walt Vinson.
Organizers say another pool party for dogs will be held August 18th at Marathon Park.
