St. Paul, MN (WAOW) -
Before you know it, college hockey season will be here. The Big Ten held it's first-ever media day on Thursday ahead of the inaugural season of Big Ten hockey.
The Badgers are the preseason favorites to win the conference as voted on by the coaches.
Minnesota Gophers forward Nate Condon is excited for the new league and the Wausau West grad hopes that the border rivalry will now extend to the ice.
The senior is also looking forward to his final season in college, noting that not much has changed.
"Everyone still tries to find Wausau on a map, which is always fun for me," Condon said. "But we're basically done with that because I've got the fear factor in them now that I'm an older guy. It's flown by for me. It's been a great three years so far."
