MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -
A project designed to remember a baby who lost his battle to cancer is getting closer to becoming a reality.
“Treyden's Cabin” is a project aimed at redesigning a child’s waiting room at The Marshfield Clinic.
The waiting room is used for children in the pediatric oncology department.
Organizers say they need to reach $50,000 to complete the project.
Clinic officials add that $15,000 has already been raised in just 6 weeks.
"We'll reach the mark and I know the Kurtzweil's have amazing ideas, and amazing plans for this room, and we'll certainly reach this mark," said Dr. Michael Mcmanus, Pediatric Oncologist at the Marshfield Clinic.
Clinic officials say they hope to have the money raised by early 2014.
