Marathon County Sheriff's Department officials say three men have been charged after a high speed chase that ended in a crash. Authorities say two of those men were involved in an armed robbery just hours before.
Plover police say Archie Biddell, 20, of Antigo and Lyndell Dale, 18, of Wausau were in a home in Plover when they held the residents at gun point. Police say that's when the two stole many items, including electronics. Authorities say they beat up the residents and then left the home. One of the victims was taken to the hospital for injuries to his face and neck. Plover police say they've recommended felony armed robbery charges. But, they have not been charged yet.
Hours later, authorities say the two armed robbery suspects were arrested in Marathon County after a high speed chase that ended in a crash. Sheriff's officers say Biddell and Dale were riding in the car with Michael Hays, 21, of Wausau. Authorities say they tried to pull the car over but Hays led officers on a high speed chase. Officers say the chase lasted more than 30 minutes and speeds topped more than 130 mph.
On Monday, all three chase suspects appeared in court. They're charged with resisting and obstructing an officer, among other charges. All three will be back in court next month.
