The smell of beef roasting is a day away on the streets of Minocqua.
The city's 49th annual Beef-A-Rama is tomorrow.
Organizers say this festival of beef will feature more than 100 roasters cooking beef in all kinds of way.
The event also features a craft fair with about 125 vendors.
Members of the community say it's a time to celebrate the end of the summer season.
“People enjoy it,” said Kim Baltus, the executive director of the event. “It's a daytime festival, it's a time when the colors are beautiful."
The chamber of commerce estimates that over ten thousand people will attend.
All of the proceeds go to local non-profit organizations.
