Lacy's learned lesson after Week 2 concussion

Green Bay Packers halfback Eddie Lacy says he's learned a lesson after suffering a concussion against Washington in Week 2.

Lacy was diving for extra yardage after a 10-yard gain when Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather made a helmet-to-helmet hit. Lacy hasn't played since Sept. 15. He's listed as probable for Sunday's game with the Lions.

Lacy tells the Green Bay Press-Gazette that he probably won't jump for extra yardage like that anymore -- unless he's at the 5-yard line. He says he feels better, and is taking it one day at a time.

Lacy entered the season as the Packers' starting halfback. In his absence James Starks and fellow rookie Johnathan Franklin have had 100-yard games.
