The Auburndale volleyball team has achieved something that no other 5 seed in the postseason has done. That's making it to the state tournament.
The team has looked to senior Camille Swart for leadership all season.
Swart, "If you get such a nice pass from your back row, and a beautiful set, I mean you just have to kill it."
Swart was a freshman the last time Auburndale played at state. The Apaches fell in the semifinals to the same team they'll play on Friday, Racine St. Catherine's.
Swart says she learned something that year that continues to motivate her.
"My mentors as a freshman, watching them play on the state floor, I just got that spark that they had and ever since seeing them play I wanted to be just like them, so hopefully I'm doing a good job, that's what I try to do."
Swart has accepted the mentor role as a senior, and in her team's biggest challenge of the season she say's she's never felt more confident in her leadership skills.
"I just feel like this time I'm very ready. I'm very ready to lead my team. I'm ready to see how far we can go. It would mean the world to me. I mean that's what I wrote down from our summer training is to bring home this gold ball so hopefully it can happen."
