Frigid temperatures didn't stop one central Wisconsin town from holding its holiday parade.
Mosinee lit its Christmas tree and the parade followed. Some floats from Wausau were also able to be in the parade. Wausau's parade scheduled for Friday night was canceled due to the cold weather.
Local businesses opened their doors to people who wanted to stay warm. Some say that tradition is more important than cold temperatures.
"Tradition, it's tradition to come watch the parade just make sure you bundle up nice and warm and you'll be fine," said Anthony Gesick of Mosinee.
Parade organizers say they are happy they didn't cancel the parade, even with the frigid weather.
