STEVENS POINT (WAOW) -
Instead of breakfast with Santa, families in Stevens Point were able to ice skate with him on Sunday.
The event was held at the Willet Ice Arena. Organizers say it brings the entire community together for some holiday fun.
"It's a great way to get kids out on the rink, you know ice skating is a great winter activity that kids can enjoy all around Stevens Point here at Goerke Park and at the Willett arena all throughout winter," said Matt Jurasewicz, the ice rink supervisor.
Skate rentals and admission was free. Each skater also got a candy cane from Santa on the ice.
