WAUSAU (WAOW) --Willow Spring Gardens in Wausau welcomed the changing of the seasons this weekend with their spring festival.
Unfortunately, it was forced inside Sunday because of the weather.
Books and arts and crafts activities were set up for children. There was also an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast.
"It's wonderful to have this in our backyard," said Beth Bartelt, a festival volunteer. "Lots of the community members are always willing to come help out at the festivals and do anything they can do to help get this place done. It's a work in progress."
Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards both fixing up the property and the Maine First Responders.
