Pacelli hires Krystowiak to lead football program

STEVENS POINT (WAOW) -- Wisconsin native David Krystowiak has been chosen to lead the Pacelli football program, the school announced Tuesday.

Krystowiak has experience coaching at the college level at UW-Stevens Point, Concordia University Wisconsin and Winona State University.

In addition to this, the Burlington native also has a plethora of high school experience. He was previously the head coach at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, Calif, and is confident that experience will help him turn Pacelli's historic program around.

I've been really fortunate and blessed to have been a part of some very high quality programs," Krystowiak told Newsline 9 in an exclusive interview.

"Having been through it before," he said, "I probably have a little bit more experience than someone who hasn't been through that."

Krystowiak is currenly working on his Master of Arts in Student Personnel Administration through Concordia University in Mequon WI. His thesis is currently pending. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education (Physical Education) from Winona State University in Winona, Minn.
