Orange County, CA / ACCESSWIRE / June 9, 2014 / Reminiscent of the nostalgic, and still popular today, arcade game Pitfall! from Activision, Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB: APPZ), releases Andy Ross’ River Runner Game (River Runner) for Android, Kindle, Nook, and iPhone/iPad. River Runner uses Google Play Game Services and Apple Game Center so players can track their scoring and compare their scores with other players globally.
This is the first in a series of games being developed for Max Apps LLC, a current partner to Andy Ross, successful musician, performer and star of the popular television show, “Maximum Archery.” You can see Andy Ross’ television schedule, channel line-up, and listen to his latest album at www.andyross.com.
Andy Ross’ River Runner Game Description:
Join Andy Ross swimming up the treacherous waters of the Amazon River, hunting Wolf Fish, Black Piranha’s, Caimans, Venomous Snakes, and more. Your player has the new Andy Ross Ambush Bow and a hunting knife and swims into the oncoming traffic jam of treacherous creatures, all ready to make you their lunch. Use the knife to knife these oncoming attacks while swimming, or simply pause and stand up in the water and draw back your Ambush bow and obliterate the beasts before they get you. Run out of arrows? Collect the arrows floating toward you being passed down river on bamboo mats from your hunt-mates up the river. Add points for every kill. Swerve left and right simply by tilting your phone. Don’t let the river wash you downstream or its GAME OVER. How many points can you collect?

“This game is fun to play and challenging. I especially like seeing Andy stand up in the water and fire his Ambush Bow. Our focus group had many compliments and seemed to really enjoy playing it. We also received some great ideas for enhancing the game play. I am very proud of our developers.”, Commented Monster Arts CEO and Chairman Wayne Irving.
Andy Ross’ River Runner is available immediately from Google Play, is being submitted for approval on iTunes for iPads/iPods/iPhones and Amazon Appstore for Kindles.
