We are also developing a Phase II clinical trial testing the effects of activation of neural stem cells on biomarker profile, stem cell mobilization and clinical effects in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). There is substantial pre-clinical data showing that neural stem cell activation results in decreased lesion volume, decreased neural degeneration and increased motor coordination in a mouse model of TBI.
