Project Walk at The Claremont Club is expanding its current facility by 2,100 square feet to accommodate a growing need to treat additional clients living with paralysis.
CLAREMONT, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2014
Project Walk Claremont will celebrate its Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon with its clients and their families, and the community.
The spinal cord injury (SCI) recovery center recently expanded by 2,100 square feet to accommodate the therapy needs of not only SCI clients, but also those who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Parkinsons and Stroke. The studio, which opened its doors at The Claremont Club in February 2013, now offers a total of 5,100 square feet of workout space for people living with debilitating diseases or conditions.
The decision to add more space was also important in addressing the rapid growth in the number of clients and applicants for specialized therapy. It will provide some relief to the studios lengthy client waiting list.
Longtime business associate of The Claremont Club, McGuire, Inc., was contracted for the entire 12-week project.
Project Walk Claremont, housed at The Claremont Club, is the first Project Walk franchise in California that provides an improved quality of life for people with paralysis through intense activity-based recovery programs, education, training, research and development. The franchise is a collaborative effort between the Be Perfect Foundation, Project Walk and The Claremont Club.
